Social Life
My life is eclectic just as my social life is eclectic. It is hard to have a clear view of everything I have done, but I have attempted to sketch important moments, decade by decade, in a new chronological page. I have put there some events that were previously in this page.
Italy is my second home. Since 1974 I spend my summer holidays in Capri where I swim, dive, meet with friends, and occasionally work.
The Mayte Awards have always been a constant yearly event.

The Conde Duque Hotel at Madrid is a place where I go pretty often because of the hospitality of Rubén Domínguez, its manager.
That I love fashion is something commonly known. What not everybody knows are my different implications in its world.
The NGO "Apoyo Positivo" (Positive Support) is part of my reason for being.
My social life has enabled me to relate myself with great figures of the Spanish intellectual and political world.
Each year my dear friend Lina Ortas magnifically arranges the ceremony of the Golden and Silver Quill awards at the Writer's Club. I enjoy attending such events.
I love going out, meeting people, making new friends and pampering the ones I already have. I adore going to the opera, theater and social events. I confess I have a frivolous side, but thanks to it I have enriched my intelectual and emotional world.
