The Passion of María Malibrán

Malibran.JPG (33202 bytes) Book presented within the frame of Agatha's Thursdays. As usual, Agatha dedicated a Thursday to something cultural and fun. She offered me her studio and volunteered to present my book.

I have a special affection for this book because it was written during a sudden fit of passion, my passion for music. With a magnificent prologue by Gonzalo Suárez, the book tells the life and adventures of this 19th century Maria Callas, the unmatchable María Malibrán.

From left to right, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, the author with his book, Beatrice von  Hardenberg taking the floor, and the editor Antonio Huerga.
