Moments of my life
My life in chronological order
Octavio Aceves is my real name. I was born in Rosario, Argentina,
in 1947 under the sign of Scorpio, of Spanish parents. Of my first years I
keep beautiful memories and great friends,
as well as my family, with their unconditional support.
In the 60s I lived crazy years in Paris, combining
my career as publicity model with that of Café Concert singer.
With the innate gift of clairvoyance, I developed this talent throughout my life, while I studied psychology and parapsychology. I also had my musical studies in the area of lyrical singing. In my facet as a writer I have tackled all literary genres except novels, for which I still don't feel prepared. I have published 28 books with different publishing houses, having been translated to several languages. I love travelling and I have lived in many cities. I write articles about parapsychology, travels and music, and give conferences about the same themes. Since 1963 I have given about 1927 conferences in Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America. I work professionally as a seer since 1967, having been the only seer who during the 20th century has been officially received in numerous occasions by Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain in the Palace of Oriente.
I have received several awards and distinctions throughout the years. A recent one, that I have really enjoyed, has been that of being named by the Italian government Citizen of Honor of Capri, and Member of the Senate for Culture. This happened on October 10, 2005. As Gonzalo Suárez says in the prologue to my book The passion of María Malibrán: "The translucent quality of Octavio Aceves is doubly surprising. He declares himself, above all, a seer. But far from the paraphernalia and obscurantism that frequently surround the exercise of this peculiar profession, Octavio Aceves has a capacity that I would call hyper-rational when it comes to expressing himself. His enormous culture has enabled him to go along historic, mythological and scientific subjects with a will of objectivity that reveals a deep pedagogic vocation. There lays the secret of his books that unite investigation with clearness of exposition, pleasantness with rigor, passion with good sense. One would say that this character of indefinable age, of never-ending youth, has spontaneously the protean virtue, beyond fickleness, of adopting different roles without having to change attitude and characterization. Here we have a person that feels by himself both before Tarot as before the blank page, both in his worldly promotional dealings from the television screen as in the submarine deeps he likes to explore with a swimmer's skill or in the depths of the churches which his visionary perception transforms into magic spheres. This impenitent heterodox traveller, promiscuous and untiring lover of errant spirits that today always wander about around us, challenges the pass of time from a continuous present to which his astonishing gaze has the key".
Ever since my beginnings and up to date I have had the unconditional support of the press, both national and international. I remember with special tenderness '86, which was a year riddled with prizes to image and professionalism. Even if I was already internationally recognised years ago, I would mention six headlines from different press media:

"Octavio Aceves has exceeded expectations." This last one, because of my conference at the Deusto University.
One of my multiple phases was my political membership with the Greens in 1995.
The season 2002-2003 I made my own television program, "TU TIEMPO CON OCTAVIO ACEVES" ("YOUR TIME WITH OCTAVIO ACEVES") that was sent out by cable for the subscribers of the "AUNA" group Monday to Friday. Currently I present my own program "De tú a tú" ("On an equal footing") that is sent out in 300 local channels. I also occupy the early mornings of Tele 5 with my program "Cerca de ti con Octavio Aceves" ("Close to you with Octavio Aceves").
At present I combine my consultation as a seer (which is my main task) with the work as lecturer and as a writer, my social life, friends, travels, sports and other hobbies. All forms of art, and music in particular, have a fundamental role in my life. And I still think, like Chesterton, that the world belongs to the optimists.
