This book was my first essay, suggested by Halldór Laxness, to whom it was dedicated. ("To Halldór K. Laxness, Nobel Prize of Literature 1955,  source of inspiration since my youth, invaluable stimulation and support since our meetings in the summer of 1990.")

It has a magnificent prologue by Javier Sádaba, who also presented it at the Palace Hotel in Madrid.
