Esotericism in Art

Esoterismo_arte.JPG (50610 bytes)

This, my second essay, was the first book that I ever donated to a charitable institution. In this case to two of them, for want of one: RED (Association of Psycho-Social Support to HIV-Infection Sick People and HIV-positive) and F.A.S.E. (Anti-Aids Foundation Spain). It was the first book donated to the fight against AIDS in Spain and one of the first in the world. The donation was made in all countries and languages, always to the same cause.

The book speaks of my two great loves; esotericism and all forms of art, and their interrelation.

Multiple presentations where held, enjoying the solidarity and support of friends, great people of the cultural life, and the press.

I had the most valuable collaboration of two great friends of mine. Victoria de los Ángeles wrote the prologue and gave charity concerts in several of the presentations. Agatha Ruiz de la Prada designed the book's cover and travelled around half of Spain with Victoria and me presenting the book.

In the presentations I counted among others with H.R.H. Kubrat of Bulgaria (Doctor), Mr. Alberto Ruiz Gallardón (at the time spokesman of the Popular Parliamentary Group at the Senate), Professor of Ethics and Philosopher Javier Sádaba, the great pianist Joaquín Achúcarro. In the last presentation, closing the Buñol festival, the soprano Adriana Molina took part, and the gala was presented by Victoria Vera and me.

Program of the Barcelona presentation, that was done at the

old University's Assembly Hall, where Victoria de los Ángeles was born and where she besides is Doctor Honoris Causa.

There are similar programs from the different cities where Victoria sung

and I simultaneously presented the book, always supported by

Agatha and by personalities of each city that joined us.

After a magnificent concert of Victoria de los Ángeles at the Gayarre Theatre, we presented the book. Agatha, faithful until exhaustion, was working in Paris and managed to arrive in time.
