Conversations with Great Ladies

This book consists of 25 interviews that I've made in co-authorship with José Aguilar. He's done twelve and I the other twelve, plus one jointly, the one with Mrs. María Teresa Álvarez. Each chapter makes up a biographical sketch, halfways between interview and biography, plus anecdotes and remembrances. |
The prologue was written by Mrs. Simoneta Gómez-Acebo y Borbón, president of Apoyo Positivo, the NGO to which the copyrights have been entirely donated. It was presented by Mrs. Simoneta Gómez-Acebo y Borbón, Mr. Alberto Ruiz Gallardón, president of the Autonomous Community of Madrid, Mr. Luis Alberto de Cuenca, Junior Minister for Culture and Mr. Pablo Álvarez, director of Editorial Martínez Roca. The act took place on Monday, February 3rd, 2003 at 7:45 p.m. at the Ritz Hotel, Madrid. It had an enormous social repercussion, I would say "as usual" if it wasn't that this time it surpassed anything predictable.
