My friends
Victoria de los Ángeles All I could say of Victoria would be too little. For me, there are two Victorias: the Victoria de los Ángeles that everybody knows as the greatest singer of the 20th century and my dear friend Victoria. None of them has ever failed me. Her music has always been with me and her friendship has supported and comforted me. She's the friend of all hours. I know her musically since I was born, because my mother adores her. And I knew her in person in the end of the 60s. In time a personal friendship begun to grow, and it's one of the things I value most. In the hard moments, just by listening to her song I've felt immediately invigorated. But I've never lacked a telephone call from her. Throughout our friendship we have lived very difficult moments as well as moments of intense happiness. But we've always been together. And when in need, we've had each other. Professionally she's supported me with enthusiasm, writing me a prologue (of the book "Esotericism in art"), presenting said book and singing in many of the presentations in a totally unselfish way and with charity purposes. I remember another moment when I decided in the year 87 to give a concert in benefit of Ayuda en Acción in the Auditorium of Palma de Mallorca, she helped me to prepare it. We have travelled together and she has continuously stimulated me, enriching my personality by always surrounding me with art.
